Customer relationship management company SugarCRM have announced that social media can be ‘a dream come true’ for customer relationships.
However the company go on to say that social media is only effective if there is a strategy in place that works to the flexibility of social media platforms.
SugarCRM’s Julian Heerdegen explains that there is a whole range of benefits to social media but that ‘a lot of damage can be done in a very short time. It is inadvisable to go into this new territory without a strategy.’
