Larking Gowen offer paid internships for talented and ambitious individuals who would like some experience of working as an Accounts and/or Audit Assistant in our growing firm.
These roles are ideally suited to undergraduates looking for work during the summer holiday period from June to September, with exact start and end dates being variable to fit with University terms and exam dates.
Interns support our busy teams and learn to prepare accounts and tax computations with minimum supervision, assistance or review points. Some interns will assist our accountants on audits which will require work at client’s premises as well as in the office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who would like to demonstrate a clear intention to work in accountancy, audit or tax.. Interns need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, initiative, and have the ability to organise themselves and be keen to learn new skills.

Applicants who plan to progress to study ACA may be able to record the time spent in this role towards their formal ACA training records enabling them to go on to qualify sooner after they graduate.
