On a day-to-day basis, our team helps individuals comply with the shifting requirements of the tax authorities and pay the right amount of tax. This includes helping private clients complete individual self-assessment tax returns. We also provide tax advice to individuals, partnerships and trusts at every stage of their life cycle. This includes capital gains, wills, inheritance tax and pensions planning tax advice. We also support clients who want to make tax-efficient investments and those preparing to exit a business.

The variety of work we do and the range of clients we work with mean you’ll have plenty of opportunity to discover a career path that fits your interests and long-term goals. With our support you’ll have the space to grow professionally so you can confidently take on ever-more challenging tasks.

An apprenticeship in personal tax offers top quality career development whilst earning a competitive salary. Tax apprentices at RSM gain hands-on experience, have access to on-the-job mentoring and train towards a professional qualification, starting with the ATT qualification. We are committed to ensuring that the route through to qualification is the best for you as an individual and maximises your potential. You’ll often need to explain complex technical information during client meetings and in written reports, so we’re looking for school leaver apprentices with excellent verbal and written communication skills. We also look for team players who enjoy interacting with others and are curious about how businesses work.

If that sounds like you, we know you’ll bring enjoy being part of our team.

Please note for those who perform well throughout our assessment process, should your first geographic preference be unavailable, you could potentially be offered a role in another location or facility. This would be discussed with you in this instance.
