We are currently recruiting motivated and confident Tax Trainees to join our UK offices. We are offering the successful candidate the opportunity to train to become a Chartered Tax Adviser, to study towards the ATT and then CTA qualification. In some instances, there may be the chance to study the joint ACA/CTA pathway subject to department/office requirements and approval. You will be involved in duties such as preparing and filing tax returns, carrying out manual reconciliation of tax liabilities and liaising with clients over the phone or in person.
The successful applicant will be outgoing and resilient, with excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills. Candidates should be self-motivated, display a positive approach to work and have the ability to get things done.
In addition, they should possess the confidence and professionalism to establish credibility at all levels, be commercially minded and be able to develop a clear perception of business requirements, having an awareness of the wider economic context that our clients operate in.
Applicants must have a 2:1 degree (expected or obtained) in any discipline and at least 120 UCAS points, or equivalent, gained at one sitting, plus excellent GCSE/ Standard results. A minimum of grade 2 in English and Maths is required for Scottish Standards. For GCSE results, we require a minimum of grade B or 6 in English and Maths. Applicants will not be expected to have prior knowledge or experience with tax. We also consider applications from school leavers with excellent GCSE/Standard and A Level/Higher results (or equivalent).
You will train to become a Chartered Tax Adviser, with study towards the ATT and then the CTA qualification or ACA/CTA pathway.

For your ATT and CTA studies and joint ACA/CTA studies, we use first-class tuition centres, alongside our own internally developed technical training programmes. This is supported by our dedicated training team who will monitor your progress throughout your studies.
