Tax with RSM is an area that provides graduates a solid foundation in a broad range of taxes with the opportunity to specialise at a later stage.
Students will be involved in client work from day one – from liaising with clients over the phone or in person, to preparing and completing tax returns for submission to H M Revenue & Customs.
You can expect to be involved in a range of duties, including the preparation and filing of tax returns, reconciliation of tax liabilities and dealing with client queries.
Tax is a technically demanding discipline, so students would be expected to demonstrate a willing to learn. Good communication and business skills are essential as we encourage all our people to develop relationships with clients.
