Why did you apply for ASE?

I joined ASE in September 2015 and began my training contract as an Audit Associate in December 2015. When looking for a graduate role, one of the most important factors was the study package on offer as well as the projected career progression. I was impressed with the professional training on offer at ASE. In addition, ASE stood out from most of the graduate jobs on offer due to being specialists in the motor trade and the bespoke services they had to offer.

How would you describe the culture of ASE?

ASE are a forward-looking company and have an excellent team working environment. I have experienced this by travelling around the country working with different teams on a range of jobs. ASE are keen for you to progress every year by providing internal training courses, as well as giving you early responsibility on jobs, which is supported by senior members of staff.

How have you found the training contract?

I am currently working towards my ACA qualification. I have found the training contract rewarding and valuable. It is a globally-recognised qualification and provides me with knowledge of accounting which can be applied to my daily working environment.

Does the firm offer you the support necessary to do this studying?

The training package on offer is very good. I attend face to face classes and revision sessions at BPP, which are done on block releases. Most of my colleagues are fully-qualified and are able to support me where necessary, as they have been through the process themselves.
