Joining us as a graduate trainee accountant, the minimum qualification we require is a degree at 2:1 or equivalent. You need to be an enthusiastic and ambitious team player with a determination to succeed and an ability to work to your own initiative. It would be advantageous to have some of the following skills, but we welcome all applicants to join our talented team:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Proficiency with IT skills allowing you to operate in-house programmes
- Strong commercial awareness of the industry and marketplace
- Basic knowledge of accountancy practices
What does this role involve?
As a graduate trainee accountant, you will be enrolled on a three-year training contract for a fully funded level seven apprenticeship. You will be supported by your team to carry out the initial preparation of client accounts and assist with audits where necessary. As well as this you will prepare tax computations, opening balance agreements, engagement letters and general administration as and when required. Whilst doing so you will also study to achieve your professional qualification.
