Hazlewoods has provided specialist accountancy, tax, audit and business advice to individuals and businesses of all shapes and sizes since the practice was founded by Marcus Hazlewood in 1919. We have over 380 staff in two offices across Gloucestershire who work with our clients locally, nationally and internationally.

We offer a three year training programme, at the end of which you will have gained your professional accountancy qualification, and be fully prepared to progress into a dynamic qualified position with Hazlewoods. We provide students with a great opportunity to train for professional exams through the ACA or ACCA route, which is recognised and valued worldwide, and our aim is for every one of our trainees to pass first time.

Audit Opportunities

Tax Opportunities

As a Hazlewoods Tax Advisory Specialist, you’ll provide forward thinking, creative and strategic planning advice, tailored to fit our client’s personal and business objectives.

Accountancy and Business Advisory Opportunities

Giving hands on experience, dealing with a rapidly growing portfolio of clients, you’ll offer specialist accounting and business advice, from smaller to larger clients over the business cycle.

Corporate Finance Opportunities

Passion, commitment and a strong track record means our Corporate Finance team enjoy continued success in the mid-corporate sector, previously ranking 16th in the UK for Due Diligence and M&As.

You will be expected to work hard to gain your professional exams, but we will provide you with all the support you need; whether that is paying your exam fees, providing professional tutors or supplying course books. Our exam training is provided by a market leading training provider where you will be able to talk to a range of people who can help and guide you towards exam success.

Alongside the training program, we understand the importance of a work-life balance. We have both an in-house Social Committee, who provide social events throughout the year, from sporting competitions, to gin tasting, to the big Christmas party at the end of the year. We also have a Trainee Committee who are dedicated to providing social events throughout the year, solely for Trainees only, giving you a great opportunity to meet other employee’s at the same stage in their career.

Our entry requirement are Grade B/Level 6 in Maths and English GCSE, 112 UCAS points, and a 2:1 degree or higher. We will accept graduates of any degree discipline.
