At Hillier Hopkins we are proud to offer a one year work placement for bright and savvy students as part of a sandwich course. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and a unique insight into the workings of an accountancy firm.

With supervision and support you’ll be placed on live accounts as soon as you start on your placement, this will give you the understanding and the skills necessary when considering a future career in accounting. Once you have gained sufficient experience working with live accounts you’ll get the opportunity to go on-site for audits. This will give you the chance to interact with clients meaning your work will be valuable and important to us.

As with our clients we look to establish long term relationships with our gap year placement students. If the placement is successful you may be offered a position on our graduate scheme once you complete your degree. This leaves you free to focus your final academic year efforts on your grade.

Eligibility

• You will need to be a current student on course to achieve a 2:1 or above on your degree (The degree course does not have to be Accounting related).
• You will need to have achieved at least 300 UCAS points in your A-levels.
• You will need to be a car driver.
• This role will commence from July 2015.
