Alliotts LLP is a friendly, 11-Partner, medium-sized accountancy practice with offices in Central London and Guildford, Surrey. Now part of the Shaw Gibbs Group – a top 35 UK accountancy firm – we offer graduates an outstanding opportunity to launch their careers in a supportive and ambitious environment.
We specialise in audit, accounts, tax and outsourcing, and as a graduate you will join one of these core service lines, developing deep expertise in your chosen area. While your training will be focused, you will also have opportunities to gain exposure to other departments, helping you build a broad understanding of the profession and how different services come together to support our clients.
From day one, you will work closely with experienced colleagues on real client assignments across a diverse portfolio of national and international businesses. Whether supporting audit engagements, preparing financial statements, assisting with tax compliance and planning, or contributing to outsourced finance functions, you will gain valuable hands-on experience and develop practical skills early in your career.
You will study towards the professional qualification relevant to your service line (ACA, ACCA, CTA, etc) over a three-year training contract, combining structured learning with on-the-job experience. Our approachable teams will mentor and support you throughout your journey, helping you build confidence, technical expertise, and strong client relationships. As your skills develop, you will take on increasing responsibility, with clear progression opportunities available.
We are looking for graduates with ambition, enthusiasm, and the drive to succeed as qualified accountants. Just as importantly, you will have the confidence and professionalism to build credibility with clients, partners and colleagues from an early stage.
In return, we offer:
- A competitive salary with increases linked to exam success
- Full study support and a structured ACA training programme
- The opportunity to specialise in audit, accounts, tax or outsourcing, with broader exposure across the firm
- Early responsibility and meaningful client interaction
- Clear career progression – many of our Managers and Partners trained with us
- A friendly, collaborative culture where people are encouraged to thrive
- Regular social and charity events organised by our Staff Action Team
Joining Alliotts means becoming part of a firm where your development truly matters, backed by the strength and opportunities of the wider Shaw Gibbs group.
If you’re ready to take the first step towards a successful career in accountancy, we’d love to hear from you.
